Check out this public service announcement from Rising Above Addiction’s President & CEO, Tammy Lofink, to hear a message of hope and healing.
Does your son or daughter struggle with addiction? Are you looking for help? About 7 years ago, I lost my 18-year old son Robert to an overdose. That’s why I founded Rising Above Addiction. RAA is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization. We can help you to navigate the treatment system, and the cost. You are not alone.
Thank you to the Community Media Center in Westminster, Maryland, for helping to produce the public service announcements.
Rising Above Addiction helps provide financial assistance to young adults in need of the crucial, early stages of drug rehabilitation. Our communities are losing too many youth and young adults to addiction. Addiction is not discriminatory; it reaches across all socio-economic and racial boundaries. No one is immune; odds are you already know someone who is affected by this disease.
Rising Above Addiction is committed to providing immediate intervention to youth and young adults facing drug addiction and overdose, by providing individual and group programs, where counseling and treatment services are at the client’s disposal from qualified and caring professionals. Our goal is to ensure that all youth and young adults facing drug addiction are provided a clear path to recovery.
