When Rob died, I was lost. I wasn’t sure how I would get through; however, I did know that I wanted to make something positive out of my tragedy.
Early on I was introduced to a man named Tim Weber. I was told that he was in long term recovery, has turned his life into something meaningful and is now saving lives in the community. I also learned that he worked for the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office as their Drug Court and Education Liaison. Before long, Rising Above Addiction became a community partner with the State’s Attorney’s Office. It was there that I got to know Tim. I do not say this lightly…. Tim was a part of saving my life! He believed in me and my cause from the start. He was an example of how someone could take something challenging, and turn it into something incredible, that could help a lot of people. He is a man of integrity, trust and loyalty.
I have learned so much from Tim, and he has helped to guide me through my journey of loss, grief and rebirth.
For these, and MANY more reasons, I am both proud and honored to have Tim on Rising Above Addiction’s Board!
I can’t wait to see where this new journey takes us.
Love you friend ❤️
Now, don’t go and let all these kind words go to your head ? ?
