A precious gift this Christmas…

Tonight was our Christmas dinner with all of the girls from Reclaiming My Life and Keeping My Serenity. Joining us were all of the women who help to run the houses, people who have adopted our houses, and three of us moms who have lost our beautiful children to the disease of addiction.

As I looked around the room this evening, I was very aware that this was all happening because Rob died. And as heartbreaking as it is, it is such a precious gift. Somehow God trusted me to be strong enough to be able to endure this journey. I am so honored, and I am so incredibly humbled by it all.

Valerie, long before Keeping My Serenity was opened, I knew that it was going to be Kristin’s house. And now your beautiful daughter is changing and saving lives. Kristin forever lives on 💚 What a beautiful blanket the girls made for you. It is breathtaking!

Cindy, I am so glad that you have become a part of our family. You are such a beautiful and loving person. I know that your beautiful boy is so proud of you💙

Sarah, Morgana, Maddy, Kristina and Brittney, I love you all!!! ♥️

Amber, I am blown away with your gift! You put so much love into every page of the calendar. The cover page of my father and Rob is one of my favorite pictures. Every time I see that picture, I see my dad and Rob waving to me and saying, we are okay. This is one of the most meaningful gifts I have ever received.

KMS girls, you know me well lol. Thank you so much for the cutting board. You all know that it will get a lot of use

To all of the girls, I love you all so much! Thank you for trusting me with your lives🧡💚

What a wonderful evening♥️💚
