The Carroll County State’s Attorney Office is hosting a drug awareness program specifically designed for parents on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Manchester Valley High School, 3300 Maple Grove Road, Manchester. The program is designed to educate parents on the “Threats In Plain Sight” for drug abuse by modeling a mock bedroom with hidden drug paraphernalia throughout including several hiding places. The bedroom will use every day items for parents to find as well as educate them on what to look for. After parents view the bedroom, a video will reflect the different signs throughout the room. The key part of this video will be the “what now” segment with questions and answers.
