We want to thank everyone who came out to the Skydive on September 17th. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we all made the best out of the day. We all got to spend the day together and celebrate recovery, while honoring and remembering those we have lost to this awful disease.
Special thanks to Audrey Watt and the students from University of Maryland. Audrey, who lost her brother, organized a fundraising event in which the students participated in making and selling sandwiches, brownies, and other treats, raising over $1,000.00 for Rising Above Addiction!
A second special thanks goes to Shephard Pratt, who organized a gofundmepage, raising roughly $1,200.00 for Rising Above Addiction!
