Last night Rising Above Addiction received a Message of Hope Award from Brian DeLeonardo, State Attorney for Carroll County. We were both surprised and honored to receive this award. Thank you to all who came out to support all those lost to addiction. It was a wonderful evening.
This morning we were interviewed at The State’s Attorney’s office, with WBAL Channel 11 news, with Jennifer Franciotti. Today we were able to meet one of the young adults that Rising Above Addiction put into treatment. Samantha, a beautiful young woman who appreciates the opportunity she has been given and is working at turning her life around. We will be following her progress. Thank you all again for your generosity; your donations are making such a difference and giving these young adults and their families a chance at a new beginning.
